Faith-based reconnection and nervous system healing
I understand the intersection of trauma, culture, and identity. My work is deeply intuitive, yet grounded in neuroscience, attachment theory, and somatic research. If you’ve ever felt like “traditional therapy” wasn’t enough—you’re not alone, and you’re not too much.
Intensives Matter—Especially for Black Women
Black women are often conditioned to push through pain, perform strength, and carry the emotional weight of others. We are rarely given spaces to rest, reflect, and regulate.
Recent studies have shown that intensive trauma therapy:
-
Can lead to faster symptom relief for complex trauma
-
Supports post-traumatic growth and resilience
-
Increases treatment engagement for Black clients when delivered through culturally-informed, holistic frameworks (source: Penn Trauma Center, 2020)
-
This model is uniquely effective because it honors the nervous system and lived experience—not just your symptoms.
